'DoughMaestro's Hearth was born from a simple vision: to share true Neapolitan pizza with Berlin. Established by the Bianchi family in 1985, our pizza shop began as a quaint, family-led venture, passing down cherished recipes from one generation to the next.
Marco Bianchi, our originator, honed her pizza crafting skills during her Italian sojourns, learning from esteemed pizzaiolos in Naples, the pizza's homeland. Coming back to the UK, she aimed to recreate classic Italian pizza with traditional techniques and top-notch ingredients.
Our start as a humble 12-seat eatery has expanded into a cherished community fixture, while our pledge to supreme quality and genuine taste remains firm. We continue to employ authentic wood-fired ovens, prepare our dough daily, and seek the best ingredients available.
Still guided by the Bianchi lineage, 'DoughMaestro's Hearth' is today a family-led business, with a second-generation 'Bianchi' at the helm of our dedicated crew. Even as we adopt modern improvements, our core mission persists: to produce luscious, real pizza that gathers folks together.
